Falling Star Gallery is a contemporary exhibition space dedicated to showcasing emerging and established artists, with an emphasis on thoughtful, community-centered work. The gallery serves as a platform for creative dialogue, experimentation, and connection, presenting exhibitions that reflect both local perspectives and broader cultural conversations.

Falling Star Gallery was founded by Nacogdoches native Lisa Steed, whose career in arts, media, and event production spans major creative markets across the United States. After returning to East Texas in 2009 and working in leadership roles at regional arts organizations, Lisa opened Falling Star Gallery in 2021 to address the lack of accessible exhibition space for local and regional artists.

Rooted in community and partnership with Nacogdoches Arts Collaborative, the gallery exists to support artists, foster creative exchange, and serve Nacogdoches’ growing arts community.
