What is the Naco Verde Upcycling Competition?
Naco Verde is a creative art challenge where participants transform curated “trash” materials into unique pieces of art or functional creations!

When does the competition start?
The competition kicks off at the March 28 Arts Market.

How do I participate?
Participants pay a $20 entry fee and pick up a curated bundle of materials from the NAC booth to use in their artwork. The artwork must be made of at least 50% recycled materials from the bundle that artists pick up.

When are projects due?
Finished pieces must be returned by the April Arts Market on Saturday, April 25th.

Are there prizes?
Yes! Prizes are awarded for the highest-selling artwork, People’s Choice (voted on by attendees of the Naco Verde Gallery), and a new Student Category for ages 6–16.
